Design Engineer

Work closely with the established sales teams to develop a solution in line with the client/ project brief.  Analyse data & prepare detailed Engineering documents and drawings.  Preparing PV layouts, SLD, BOM preparation, 3D project modeling & RFQ preparation.  Provide desktop conceptual designs for both roof and ground-mounted systems, yield forecasts and financial forecasts using design software such as PVSOL, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations/legislation  Carry out post-contract intrusive design, prepare final construction issue technical specifications, layout drawings, AC & DC electrical wiring calculations, earthing calculation, PV system Reports, string configurations using PVSOL and/ or AutoCAD or similar  Occasional site visits to gain field data.  Manage the development of pre-contract cost-effective EPC solutions and deliver comprehensive design packages for project proposals and tenders, including designs, specifications, installation costs, access equipment, and all prelims.  The candidate has designed a single plant capacity of min 500 Kwp and a cumulative min 1 MW
